Dear SLCC Alumni,
You are warmly
invited to perform in our 30th Anniversary Gala
celebration at Powell Hall on May 18, 2008 at 2:00pm.
Rehearsals for this concert will take place on Saturday, May 17th.
The time of rehearsals and details of exactly what we are going to
sing will be forthcoming. We’ll be performing some SATB music
as a collective Alumni Chorus of all alumni, as well as some treble
favorites from previous Concert Choir years.
If you would like
to sing together again at Powell Hall, please RSVP as soon as
possible so that we can begin to solidify all the arrangements.
We hope you will be in touch with all of your SLCC alumni friends
and make sure they also received this invitation. We would
love to have as large a group as possible. The more, the
merrier! We are also planning an alumni dinner get-together at
a local restaurant after rehearsal on Saturday evening, May 17,
2008, so it will be helpful to know you would like to attend that as
well.
We will be sending out a practice CD in April. When you RSVP
please tell us:
1. Current
voice part
2. Your last
year in choir and the ensembles you sang in that year.
(Choristers, Concert Choir, and/or Chamber Singers.)
3. Your current mailing address and telephone number so we can be in touch.
