Photo Gallery 1980-1984

Concert Choir from 1980/1981.  This was a publicity photo from a blue brouchure.

This is Boys and Girls choir from 1981.  Boys and Girls choir is the current equivalent of Chorale.  This was taken at Chesterfield Mall.

This is Concert Choir in performance in the Spring of 1982.  Assistant Director Sue Pocklington is conducting us in our concert at Parkway Central Junior High.

This picture was taken at the Great American Choral Festival at the old Keil Auditorium in the Spring of 1982.  There are three adults in the picture.  On the left side (second from the left in the back row) is Assistant Director Sue Pocklington.  In the center back is Accompanist Jan Werner.  Second from the right in the back row is Founder and Music Director, Diane Finley.  I won't list everyone in the picture, but Tisha (Sparfeld) Haschart is third from the left in the front row and I am all the way to the left of the second row.  Don't you just love these uniforms?

Picture from Sherwood Montessori School (very close to where the choirs currently rehearse).  Diane Finley taught music and remedial reading (she is in the back right corner).  I am here somewhere, but I won't say which one.

Here is a group picture of Training Choir (later renamed Children's Choir) from the Spring of 1983.  This was Mrs. Sparfeld's first year as Music Director.  We rehearsed at the Westport Playhouse and this picture was taken in the lobby.  Some long-time choir members pictured here are: Alicia Norman (second from the left in the front row) and Jeff Stringer (second from the left in the back row).  I'm guessing Bryon Davis is on the far right of the back row.  These robes were our infamous reversible robes.  Cheryl Martinez is second from the right of the third row.  They were white and blue on this side, with red and white collars on the other...they were very heavy!

This is Concert Choir in December of 1983.  This picture was taken at Chesterfield Mall in the center court (which is now gone...completely level). This group later went on to take our first tour - to Michigan in June, 1984.  I think I can name most of these people:
