Diana (Strutman) Grosch
Diana (Strutman) Grosch was a member of the St. Louis Children's
Choirs from 1991 until 2000. She toured with SLCC and SLSCC to
Carnegie Hall (1992), Russia (1993), Des Moines, Sweden, Norway
and Denmark (1998), Disneyworld and other places. After
completing high school, Diana enrolled in the Bachelor of Music
Education program at Southwest Missouri State University (now
Missouri State University). At SMSU, Diana sang in the Concert
Chorale and Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Guy Webb.
She also held positions as the President of her college
chapters of the American Choral Directors Association and the
Missouri Music Educators Association, also the state president
of the state chapter of Missouri Music Educators Association.
Diana graduated with her BME with departmental honors and
distinction as magna cum laude in May 2004.
She moved back home to St. Louis and became a Music Specialist
at Castlio
Elementary in the Francis Howell School District. She also rejoined the St. Louis Children's Choirs as an Associate Director of Music Makers for the 2005-2006 season.
Diana Strutman married her high school sweetheart, Bryan Grosch, on May
29, 2005. After teaching two years in the Francis Howell School District and with SLCC, Diana completed her Masters of Music Education degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis in December 2007. She is the choir director at Fort Zumwalt East High School and absolutely loves her new job and students!
